It was a moment of joy at the compound of St. Anglican Church Compound yesterday as the wife of the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate for September 19 Gubernatorial Election, Hajia Barr Nana Gani Audu took to the stage to address the crowd on her promises of Empowerment for women and youths and free health care for children.



On hearing these promises, the people rejoiced and showered on her praises of a good and reasonable mother who understand the pain of her people.

Hajia Nana said; "I and Our Mother, Prof Idia Ize-Iyamu have come together to ponder on what our women and children need. We discovered there is no Empowerment for the women and youths. The children are sick and there is no money to take them to the hospitals, our young girls are jobless and they have no handworks. We came up with a plan and that is to grant our women soft loans without interests, Empower the women and youths, our young girls, we are going to train you all on how to either see clothes, make hair, catering and cake baking, make ups and other handworks, we will also award you all certificates on your completion of training. We want an Edo that involves everyone and we want an Edo where everyone is working. Our children from age 1 to 5 will be treated and gibmven drugs in our hospitals free of charge. Their health matters to us."

The mother of The state, The mother of the fmr APC National Chairman, Hajia Aishetu Oshomole who was also present at the event, while speaking to NewsMen commended the efforts of Hajia Nana Gani Audu and her colleague, Prof Idia Ize-Iyamu, to bring light and joy into the lives of Edo women and children.

Accompanying the wife of the incoming deputy Governor were Hajia Charity Yakson, Hajia Momoh, Comr Zika Oyakhamoh, Mrs Idris and other APC members.

It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue.
