EDO GUBER DEBATE AND THE 'SIMPLE' AGENDA

Within seconds I realised that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faithfuls flooded the social media space to glorify the ignorance of the outgoing Obaseki. It was expected and I was not in any way dissapointed because the sheep are not different from the shepherd. 

They all wrote that Barrister Osagie Ize-Iyamu attacked Obaseki and that got me laughing in a very exciting manner. If I were in Ize-Iyamu' shoes, I would do same. This is because we have to understand the fact that he, Obaseki has failed us thus, we are in dire need for a Governor like Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who will run an inclusive government with a 'SIMPLE' AGENDA.

The public is wise and aware of the calculative and awkward attempt to attack the Ize-Iyamu' plan. All their attacks read "POI stop attacking Obaseki and answer the question" but how could one expect POI to answer a question from Seun without discussing those pressing issues, especially the areas the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA presents. In their bids to attack the best candidate in the person of Ize-Iyamu they forget the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA was being analysed by the most talented incoming Governor. Well, as I have earlier stated, I was not in any way dissapointed because what can come out of a teeming group of Obaseki, and a man who is known for his lies and deceptive disposition.

The way Barrister Osagie Ize-Iyamu analysed the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA and followed it to the end was inspiring, a plan the people have embraced, a plan that has changed the minds of traditional politicians, a plan that will speak for him come September 19, 2020, and a time-bound plan of four (4) years. A workable plan that reflects the actual needs of Edolites. That is the plan they have attacked, unknown to them an attack on it,  is an attack on the entire people of Edo state. Well, the attacks shouldn't distract well meaning electorates, they should ensure that the state is rescued from the hands of an MoU Governor.

POI couldn't have gone outside of the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA to profer answers to questions that were directed to him,  therefore, any sane person will use what they described as an attack to profer answers to such questions. It is very clear that POI has already gone ahead a man who has been enjoying the privileges as a Governor and did nothing. Indeed, POI demonstrated the pains of a true Edo son and not as a candidate. 

I like the way he, POI rubbed it on him, I like the manner he exposed Obaseki' deficiency in office. The emphasis done by POI has taken Obaseki to embrace another stage to lies, the man is so well cultured that he derives pleasure in telling lies so fluent. PDP sheep accused POI of attacking Obaseki yet applauded the dumb Governor for stating that the reason behind his failure is tied to an administration POI was a  secretary 13 years ago.  How? 

The 'SIMPLE' AGENDA analysis has Obaseki' four year in office a government of scam and described him as a scammer. 

The SIMPLE document from inception has put Obaseki on the defensive end, it throws missiles at him which made him more vulnerable to tell advanced lies. You need a lie to cover up another but Edolites are now very wise. 

It's no big news that Obaseki has integrity issues, following his consistent MoUs that was used to cowed the people in the beginning.  My question is, how many people will believe his many other lies? Maybe only those who dare to defraud him of state resources.

One of the qualities of a good leader is to present issues and allow the people represented score either low or high but in his case, having presented special effects based content as to promote himself, he scores himself high afterwards.What a deceptive leader who fails to understand the fact that the people have left him and are watchful.

Once again, Obaseki failed to realise that he presented what did not exist in his four years in office. Over 70% projects he brags about were done and approved by his predecessor. Pastor Ize-Iyamu knows him and he couldn't have wasted his precious time on him when he knew the debate was time-bound. He didn't want his lies dominate, instead he spent the limited time to analyse the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA, a refined document seen by opposition as an attack.

POI aim during the debate was to engage in the final sale of the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA and not to glorify himself, he did achieve that and he was as smart as the document. Those who shy away from commending the smart effort behind the  'SIMPLE' AGENDA are those who describe it as an attack. The debate would have been marred if the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA for Edo state was not discussed.

On stepping into the stage Obaseki realized that it was not business as usual so he took to an advanced level to lie and to pacify himself but he can't surprise me. 

If he had his ways he would have projected his morally bankrupt deputy to come fight dirty, a man in battle, a man only relevant when it comes to attacking the fingers that fed him. He fluently dished out his lies to lace his deficiency but the world knows he lied again. A failed debater like Obaseki asking a smart debater an awkward question is a blunder he wanted to use in covering up. But he hit the rock as time was up as his expectations were dashed.

POI is an experienced politician and a smart business man therefore, those who say he is inexperienced and lacks the ability to answer questions must have day dreamed. Mind you, he succeeded in presenting the actual issues that border the state.

They made fun of the non significant polls and jubilated, I laughed at them again, Obaseki knew he was going to fail on arrival so he made efforts to flood the social media using youths from other states and to cause a chaos. Obaseki knows there is no place for him here again but he doesn't want to troll in the towel easily but let me remind you if it skipped your head, what could make his appointees resign on a daily basis? this is because his cabinet appointtees' resignations has shown that his chilling calmness is a scam and a tormentor of men.

Obaseki has been a wounded lion, a drawning man, nosing for who to either devoir or sink with him. People like him are fought with a smart working document like the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA and that is what POI has done to the derailed outgoing governor.

According to Moji Damisa, Obaseki fights like wilder, waiting for the right moment to throw that punch to cut the fight short and she went further to state that POI knew he was winning, delivering the right punches with devastating effects"

Apart from the functional projects mentioned that were done by his predecessor, some others were done at the federal government level to create local jobs, this, which the state government knew nothing about. A man who has a culture of waste was being hailed for telling many lies and dishing out inaccurate figures of projects he could have atleast rated for public hearing. His ambiguous presentations fall below leadership standard, a man who knows he has failed woefully but in dire need of power for another term to intimidate our people. 

For those who say that POI has short memory of selling himself are not fair to themselves. Ize-Iyamu has already sold himself through the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA to the people during the campaigns and press conferences, and he was not ignorant to the fact that a man loaded with so much ideas couldn't have been able to sell himself for a few minutes. There was no time, the time was not under his control, anyone in his shoes would have done same during the debate.

It is worrisome to see young adults who are supposed to hold leaders accountable talk about the debate in an inglorious way, these are youths whose rights are to hold responsible Obaseki who boldly said he has no plans to create new jobs when voted for the second term in office on the 19th of September 2020 Edo elections after he lied that he created 157,000 out of the 200,000 jobs promised. A man who has no plan for youth employment when voted in again is not worthy of votes and does not deserve any accolade.

Think about the 'SIMPLE' AGENDA and understand why POI never attacked Obaseki but rather he simply analysed and presented the smart  document which will be in reflection of his work in office as a Governor.
