The Female Youth Leader Of Etsako Central LGA of Edo State, Hon (Miss) Victoria Okhai Emike, yesterday innugorated The Female Canvassers Group in Ward 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 to push forth the message of the SIMPLE Agenda in their various Wards.


The Event which kicked off at about 1pm started with Opening Prayers from Mall Saliu El-rufai, Secretary, Media and Publicity Committee, Edo North Campaign Council. He prayed for the success of the event, the success and peaceful election come September 19, and the general welfare of the organizers of the event.


While introducing the motives behind the innuguration ceremony, Hon Emike said she was surprised Females of the local government have distanced themselves from politics calling it a man's job. She stated instance where Women have actually dominated in politics using herself as an example. She said; "I started Politics at the tender age of 16 and at then, I could become the classrep of my class and from classrep, I was elected as Vice president of Uniben SUG. If I could get there, there is no reason why you all here today cannot go pass there."


She also told them about the job specifications that they were meant to go into their various Wards and enlightened the people about the goodwill message of the SIMPLE Agenda. She encouraged them to be good ambassadors of APC, to shun violence and make sure they preach the gospel of the SIMPLE Agenda with Smiles on their faces.


The representative Of the State Campaign Organization, Hon Ahmed Musa Momoh explained the SIMPLE Agenda to the gathering Letter by Letter. He encouraged them to talk mostly on Security, Manpower Development Empowerment and Infrastructural Development as those are the main  needs of Etsako Central at this time.


Also present at the Occasion were Hon Alhassan Idaero, Former Etsako West Chairman, Former Woman Leader of Etsako West, Hon Rafat and others.

It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue.
