ANEGBETTE DOCUMENTARY. WHAT THEY WANT AND WHO THEY STAND WITH.

 

Anegbette Is Community blessed with good soil for farming Rice, Cassava, Yam and Groundnut.

The great Alika River is also situated in Anegbette and that river is a major source of fish and a means of transportation from Anegbette to other communities.


In 2016, Obaseki promised Anegbette people a good and motorable road from Anegbette to Uromi, good pipe borne water and Empowerment program for all.

This is 2020, no promise had been fulfilled by Obaseki.


The people of Anegbette, through this video, tell the world what they need and who the feel can help them in getting what they want.

HON ANTHONY IGIEHON'S PRIVILEGED VISIT TO THE OMON'OBA

  Yesterday, I had another rare opportunity to visit the palace of our beloved and highly revered monarch, the Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin under the auspices of Ogbakha-Edo, a social-cultural group whose membership I hold dearly. The primary objective of the group is to unite Edo indigenes all over the world for the purpose of ensuring effective rebuilding, a holistic growth of our people as well as a result oriented leadership. Listening to His Royal Majesty was reassuring and we didn't fail to reaffirm our continued loyalty to his glorious reign. Chinua Achebe wrote in the 1958 best seller- Things Fall Apart, *"If a child washes his hands, he could eat with Kings".* Therefore, I am rather humbled, honoured and privileged than proud to be considered a son of this historic palace and will never seize to join hands with my fellow indigenes in contributing to the betterment of the lives of our people socioeconomically.

Who said it was difficult??  It was only difficult when you did not involve Hon. Halima  Obehi Jibrin! We know at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee bows: but by your involvement impossible becomes nothing!  You were in your prime but I saw those with grey hair shake you with two hands while they were serving either as a sitting governor, federal minister, or an elite in the society because of your courage, determination, love, cheerfulness, compassion and above all service towards God and Humanity!
