MY IDEA OF REPRESENTATIVE LEADERSHIP

Anyone can sit in the comfort of his office and delegate tasks or accept the hypocrisy of his staff that all is well with their endeavour, but there is more to effective leadership than that. For me, being effective as a leader involves being abreast with existing realities and with a complimentary dexterity to act accordingly. Such actions impact not only those you manage or who work with you, but more importantly those whose mandate you are privileged enough to carry.


In serving them, titles or even accolades amounts to naught. This is so because representative leadership is much more meaningful and profound when it meets the needs of the people. In tandem with this truth, my consultation visits to the 20 wards that make up the Federal Constituency of Egor/Ikpoba-Okha has been submerged in factual needs assessment an essential tool in any functional society.


Strategically, I have assembled these desires of our people and in fairness they are neither overboard nor impossible to implement should we refine, improve and develope them into workable plans, secure the necessary resources and lookout for/negotiate opportunities.


Quite frankly, aside the strong will to pursue the goal, it is rather a matter of influence than of rank or title that characterizes self-aggrandizement and self-service which has a devastating ripple effect on the citizenry.


This is my idea of representative leadership, a clear path to bringing democratic dividends to the people. It is on this premise that the concept of RESTORATION was birthed and the purpose for which it shall be forcefully semonized. The idea particulars the supremacy of the rule of law, true federalism, constitutionalism as well as capacity building and amelioration of social amenities. 


All these we can and must do and I will not tire out till the work is done.

ETSAKO SHUTDOWN AS APC MEMBERS WELCOME DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, HON GANI AUDU. It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue. He was accompanied by The Director Of Media and Communication, POI campaign Organization, Mr John Mayaki, Hon Ugabi Kingsley, Member-Elect, Edo State House Of Assembly, Barr Shuaibu Elamah, Comr Nuhu Musa Momoh and other Notable political figures.
