HON. ANTHONY IGIEHON: A Brief Background Story



Hon. Anthony Igiehon was born into the illustrious family of the Igiehons of Ibiwe, in Oredo local government area of Edo State.

Growing up, he was very passionate about formal education and progressed through elementary and secondary school in flying colours. Afterwards, he gained admission into the University of Benin where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Economics and Statistics. 

Upon his graduation, he proceeded to the National Youth Service Corp and diligently served his beloved nation through his place of primary assignment, ExxonMobil.

As a result of his outstanding work ethics, his dexterity, problem-solving skills and uncommon dedication to work, he was offered a permanent job placement at ExxonMobil which he accepted and worked briefly with them.

Hon. Igiehon's love for knowledge has always been a driving force. Following his brief stint with Exxonmobil, he proceeded to the United States of America (USA) having been offered a postgraduate admission by the famous University of Texas. As always, he excelled, earning a Masters degree in Computer Information Systems. 

Currently, Hon. Anthony Igiehon is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has worked previously as a consultant for many fortune 500 companies including Chase Bank, CompUSA and Crawford and Company.

As an independent consultant, he later joined others to start George and Gate Consulting as a partner and is presently a Managing Partner in the company. 

As a community developer, he has contributed in no small measure to the advancement of the capacities of young adults in his native Egor Local Government Area.

Hon. Igiehon is an avid sport enthusiast with special interests in Soccer, Tennis and Golf. 

He is happily married to Mrs. Danielle Igiehon and they are blessed with 3 children.

ETSAKO SHUTDOWN AS APC MEMBERS WELCOME DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, HON GANI AUDU. It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue. He was accompanied by The Director Of Media and Communication, POI campaign Organization, Mr John Mayaki, Hon Ugabi Kingsley, Member-Elect, Edo State House Of Assembly, Barr Shuaibu Elamah, Comr Nuhu Musa Momoh and other Notable political figures.
