HON DAME VERA SADOH: A Woman Amongst Men

 


Due to ignorance and phobia for the female gender in the past, they were restricted to mere house chores: housekeeping, kitchen staffs and bed warmers & baby sitters. Africans never cared so much about their daughters except it was time to collect a huge sum of money and farm products on her head as dowry. This practices have long been abolished since the coming of the Western ways of Living and modern Educational Practices.


However, it's on note that some people still want to restrict their wifes' to the domestic ways of living even if that woman is educated and this leaves one to ask; Would there be any Twin or Triplet babies today in the country if Miss Mary Slesor was restricted to the kitchen?

Who would have named this country as NIGERIA if Miss Flora Shaw (Lady Flora Lugard) was restricted to washing plates and serving as a baby sitter? Amongst the plethora of women inventors and history makers, They were free to do as they desired and they reached greater heights than most men folks in history.

There is a woman who, like it or not, we all have heard and seen her good works, honesty, humility, passion and dedication to duty and love for her people, Etsako Federal Constituents. A party woman who have done what some men can not do for the Party.

A woman who always delivers her Unit & Ward For her Party in every election. A woman in the midst of men but yet outstand them with her good works and greatness. This woman is none other but HON DAME VERA SADOH.


DAME VERA SADOH is contesting for the position of the House of Representative, Etsako Federal Constituency At The House Of Representatives Under The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 General elections.


Dame Vera Sadoh is the perfect description of "What A Man Can Do, A Woman Can Do It Better."


Now, it is not a question of is she a Woman or Not. The Question is Can she do the job better? We all have seen some of the great works of *Dame Vera Sadoh* in Etsako Central and How she has empowered several youths and women and all the great sacrifices she has made for the party. We should give her a chance to represent US (Etsako Central, East and West respectively) at The National Assembly.

It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue.
