FORMER PDP CANDIDATES CONGRATULATE MALLAM GANI AUDU ON HIS EMERGENCE AS EDO APC DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

BENIN - Former PDP House of assembly candidates, who contested the 2019 EDHA election and are currently in the All Progressives Congress (APC) have congratulated a former local government chairman and current EDHA Member-elect representing Etsako West Constituency, Mallam Gani Audu on his emergence as the Edo APC governorship candidate.

In a statement issued by the group's Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Amhiegbereta through it's Publicity director, Hon Prophet Emmanuel Ojo Akhigbe-Agge in Benin, the candidates posited that Audu's proven experience as a grassroot politician will further brighten the party's chances of winning September 19th, 2020 poll.

The group thanked the party for choosing rightly - a man who has distinguished himself in serving his people. 
Furthermore, they applauded the party for picking a devoted Muslim to compliment the efforts of an accomplished Pastor, Dr. Osagie Ize-Iyamu. 

"This is the first time in the history of our gubernatorial pursuit that a party will be presenting a balanced Christian/Muslim ticket", Hon. Amhiegbereta added.

It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently.
