THE "UNHOLY ALLIANCE" OF THE SOUTHERN GOVERNORS NOT IN OUR BEST INTEREST* - SOUTH SOUTH PRESSURE GROUP DECLARES.

 


We have carefully read the communique rolled out by the Southern Governors, and we are asking if we the Youths of the South were considered when they declared their mere imagination of Southern Presidency.


We want to ask, which Southern Youth are they considering for their so called Southern Presidency in 2023?


How far and well have they positioned that Southern Youth to take over the mantle of Leadership in 2023?


Or are they just considering their selves alone and claiming/hiding under the guise by calling for Southern Presidency?


If they sincerely and truly answer these questions (which will all not that they can't), we will see that their selfish call for Southern Presidency is not in the best interest of we the Youths from the Southern Part of this Country, as their sole interest is to still control power and further put us in abject poverty and dependence on their stipends that we hardly see.


As for us in the South South Region, we want to take our destiny in our hands and pull ourselves from the shackles of poverty created by the Political Class of the Old.


All we are asking for is a Generational Shift of Power with emphasis on Competency and Capacity, and not any selfish call for zoning. This same zoning they won't allow in their various States, so why the double standard?


We have identified Governor Yahaha Bello as someone with sound mind, great capacity and competence, wide reach, a bridge between the Moslem & Christian, Elites & Grassroot, North & South to take up the mantle of Leadership in 2023. Our position is devoid of ethnicity, religion or social class, as all we want is a developed and united Nigeria.


Remember, Democracy is the Government of the People, by the People and for the People. Which means, majority must have their way, so few people should not come together to impose their mere imagination that is not in our best interest on us.

It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue.
