The youths of Oreghiavi/Osomhegbe in Ward 5, SouthIbie paid a courtesy visit to Hon Ahmed Musa Momoh, the Director Of Welfare, POI Campaign Organization yesterday at his residence to assure him of their support and commitment to vote for the Candidates Of the APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Mall Hon Gani Audu come September 19, 2020.


The Leader of the Group, Comr Abdul Ganiyu Izuafa who spoke on behalf of the group expressed his dissatisfaction with the outgoing government who he described as a total failure and mistake made by the people of Edo State in 2016. He said; "We have all resolved to support the SIMPLE Agenda because we saw in it, what can transform our state to the Beauty we want. Obaseki and his deputy failed us the youths. No Empowerment as they promised, only thugs here and there, making everyone live in fear in our own state. We have come today to say Enough Is Enough For MOU government. We will vote and support Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Mall Gani Audu to be the Governor And Deputy governor of this our great state."


The group also used the opportunity to inform the Director Of Welfare about their Purposed Rally scheduled to hold on Friday.

Hon Ahmed Musa Momoh, while responding to the endorsement, assured the youths of his Happiness to see youths coming out to tell the world that they know what is right and what is wrong. He however expressed his disappointment with some so-called Leaders who have resulted to purchasing arms for youth for the purpose of election violence. He urged such youths to stay away from violence as no one knows who might be hurt in the process. 


Hon Ahmed said; "Your coming here today is very welcomed and I assure you that I am with you always and I will always be here for you. I will take your message to the incoming Governor and deputy and I want to advise you to please stay away from violence because after election, there is still life. I also call on those SouthIbie so called Leaders to desist from purchasing arms which they intend to used to ditsrupt the peaceful election come September 19. We pray God Use the weapon of their hands to fight them for us."


Hon Ahmed Musa thereafter promised to support their Rally with 50 branded caps and also pay for a DJ and a car to move with them around.

It was jubilation galore on Friday, 3rd July, 2020, as Edo North APC members came out in multitudes to welcome Home, Hon Gani Audu from Abuja after he had been made the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate recently. The DG candidate who arrived at about 4pm was met with a crowd of party Leaders, loyalists, Friends and Families at Ogbido Town, Uzairue.
